Mimi Davila

Mimi Davila is a Cuban/Bulgarian actress, comedian and writer raised in Miami. Mimi and her best friend Laura's viral video Chongalicious marked the start of LatinX content creation back in 2007, bringing to light a new subculture and starting a nationwide conversation. Their show "Wow! Que Show!" a parody of the longest running variety show in television history, "Sabado Gigante," performed to sold out audiences in Miami and at UCB LA. Classically trained, Mimi has appeared in several theatrical and television productions including Tarell Alvin McCraney's (Moonlight) production of Hamlet. You can hear her voice in the animated feature "Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse" and as the voice of Romelle on the animated series, “Voltron.” She recently played opposite Stephen Dorff in the indie feature Embattled, and her most recent film, Piel Canela, will be featured in the 2019 NY Latino Film Festival and Holly Shorts in addition to others.
