Manny Campos

Manuel Campos leads Multicultural Brand and Advertising at Sprint in Overland Park, Kansas.

Manuel joined Sprint in 2015 and leverages over 22 years of LatinX marketing & advertising experience.  He has spent the last 5 years developing creative strategy and advertising that is relevant to LatinX consumers and leads Sprint’s advertising agencies in developing advertising content.

Manuel is of the belief that [advertising] content can be used to connect with existing and prospective customers.  This approach was notable with the 2018 World Cup campaign where content was key in connecting with futbol fans. 

For the World Cup ad campaign, Sprint continued the partnership with Prince Royce, including co-creating a song “60 Minutos: Futbol Mode” and producing the music video.  Sprint also partnered with Telemundo in developing Sprint content on their app including having an on-the-ground fan capturing the excitement of the games in real time.  Other app content includes tools and hacks such as the Calendar Blocker, Excuse Maker, and others. Notable is that Sprint’s futbol campaign was recognized with a Silver EFFIE in the Internet & Telecom as a testament to the role that content plays with engaging with futbol fans.

Before Sprint, Manuel spent 10 years as the account director at Conill Advertising leading the T-Mobile business for the LatinX segment. 

Manuel is a native of Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management, with an emphasis in Product/Brand Management from California State University, Pomona.  A Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and serves as a committee member at the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Alliance for Inclusive Marketing Management (AIMM).
