This fall Lyriq will be heavily featured in the romantic drama from Haifaa Al-Mansour in, NAPPILY EVER AFTER for Netflix.

In the spring of 2016 at the Canadian Screen Awards, Lyriq took home the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the BET/CBC mini series, THE BOOK OF NEGROES from Lawrence Hill & Clement Virgo. It was a tremendous achievement for him to be celebrated among all of his peers for the first time on such an important stage.

American audiences first became familiar with Lyriq as he recurred on four seasons of Tassie Cameron's crime drama, ROOKIE BLUE for ABC. Lyriq has also collaborated with Darren Lynn Bousman on his massively popular horror mystery franchise, SAW as 'Det. Daniel Rigg.' Lyriq appeared in the second, third and fourth installments of the franchise which went on to gross over $880 million at the World Wide Box Office. Around that same period Lyriq had a nice arc in John Singleton's action drama for Paramount Pictures called, FOUR BROTHERS playing opposite Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson.
