Jessica Flores

Jessica Flores is a musical artist, songwriter, and radio and digital personality. The daughter of a Mexican father and a Colombian mother, Jessica began performing Latin folk classics at family gatherings, karaoke bars, and open mics alongside mariachis and salsa bands at an early age.

A stellar athlete in high school, Jessica was recruited to play soccer at the D1 collegiate
level for USC. Early on she became involved with USC’s outstanding entertainment
program earning her own USC radio and television show, as well as the opportunity to
create and package stories in the news room. One year and several internships later
including Univision and Skee TV, Jessica chose to pursue a career in the music and
radio industry. She went on to become Radio Disney’s newest and youngest on-air
personality at the age of 19. Building upon her previous successes in radio she was
chosen as the new executive producer for Power 106’s The Lift Off with J Cruz and
Justin Credible, leaving her athletic pursuits behind. Her personality shined inside and
out of the radio room leading her to do street-interviews for the morning show on Power
106’s The Cruz Show and dozens of interviews with industry elites for Dash Radio.

Shortly after finishing her time at USC’s Annenberg School of Communication and
Journalism, Jessica became the first ever Latin Partnerships Manager at musical.ly. She
was able to successfully lead musical.ly’s efforts in growing the app in the Latin market.
She quickly left her mark in the Latin Music Industry launching global viral campaigns
for songs like Shaky Shaky, Chantaje, Mi Gente, Mayores, and Despacito. She planned
and executed campaigns for artists like Shakira, Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Christian
Nodal, Karol G, J Balvin, Carlos Vives, CNCO, Luis Fonsi, Prince Royce, and many
more. After musical.ly and Apple Music joined forces, Jessica worked closely with the
Apple Music team to execute successful 360 campaigns for song releases.

Finding it necessary for musical.ly to be present at Latin Music events, she worked with
Univision, Telemundo, MTV, and Nickelodeon to ensure musical.ly would be integrated
through red carpet placements and commercial campaigns. With her talent and
experience in hosting and interviewing, Jessica also served as musical.ly’s in-house
correspondent interviewing artists and actors like Stevie Wonder, Reese Witherspoon,
Matthew McConaughey, Celine Dion, Diddy, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, J Balvin, Banda
Recodo, and BTS to name a few. Jessica worked several Red Carpet events in the
Anglo and Latin space including Country Music Awards, Grammy’s, Billboard Awards,
MTV Music Awards, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, Latin Grammy’s, Latin
Billboards, Radio Disney Awards, MTV MIAW, Eliot Awards, and Kids Choice Mexico.
Jessica was also selected to host and speak on panels at events such as Vidcon and
Hispanicize Los Angeles.

In 2018 musical.ly and Telemundo collaborated to launch a brand new digital show The
Cheese, airing on the musical.ly app targeting the Gen-Z audience. Jessica was
selected to co-host the show alongside Telemundo veteran Christian Acosta. This show
was featured on Forbes and got the attention of several other news media outlets.

Through the years she remained focused on growing her social media presence
garnishing 91,000 authentic Instagram followers and another 400,000 followers on
musical.ly. Brands such as Nike have collaborated with Jessica on several social media
campaigns and have even had Jessica host local athletic events. This increase in
followers led her to be nominated for a Kids Choice award in Mexico in 2017.

In the past 5 years Jessica has mastered an array of skill sets that set her apart from a
typical entertainment personality. At just 24 years old, her versatility on camera and her
work behind the scenes allows her to easily and effectively execute successful projects
from start to finish. She has created positive working relationships with music labels,
traditional media companies, social media companies, social media influencers, and
artists alike. Her focus is to now take her experience and grow as a media personality
while continuously challenging herself to be innovative and forward thinking in the music
space.
