Andrew Santiago is an improviser, sketch comedy actor, stand up comedian, and writer from Brooklyn, NY.

He started studying sketch and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2011 after a two year run with Emerson Comedy Workshop, his alma mater's comedy troupe who counts Matt McGory and Dennis Leary among their alumni.

During his first stint in LA, he was a monologue joke contributor for TBS’s George Lopez Tonight, and worked in development at Comedy Central. Tired of the sunlight and beaches, he returned to NYC and worked on Billy On The Streets when it was still at Funny Or Die, and yes, he DID work on the Amy Poehler Christmas episode.

He started his standup career in NYC in 2015, while working as a writer & performer for Univision’s digital comedy platform Flama before moving full time back to LA to work at digital media company We Are Mitú, where he was on-screen talent, staff writer, editor, and content producer starring in and co-writing three series for Mitú as well as starring in their first Facebook Watch show entitled What's Good In Your Hood.

After his departure from full time work with mitu, Andrew performed in the 2018 NHMC Latino Scene Showcase which landed him representation with Principal Entertainment.

He also starred in and co-wrote Wow! Que Show!, with creative collaborators Laura Di Lorenzo, Mimi Davilla and Jenny Lorenzo. A parody of the world famous Spanish language variety show Sabado Gigante, Wow! Que Show! had two successful sold out runs at the UCB Sunset Theater. After that show wrapped he landed a coveted spot as a UCB house team member.

Currently he performs with his UCB Team Moon Goon. He's done digital videos for OBB, LATV, and Mitú and for various brands including the PGA Tour, Twix, and he recently interviewed Eiza Gonzalez and Dwayne Johnson for the new Hobbs and Shaw Film. He’s also starring in a new series for Fuse Media titled Chew It Up, where he will be interviewing hip-hop artists and musicians to explore their identities through food and culture. The first episode stars Wale and will be coming soon.
