is the creator, producer and host of The Mikey O Comedy Show which produces over 80 shows a year in the Chicagoland area and across the country. Mike's shows have been featured on The View, CNN, Telemundo, WGN-TV, Univision, People en Español, Broadway World and the Chicago Tribune. Mike is especially proud of 3 notable milestones in his career: serving on the Board of Governors for the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences which created the very first Latin Grammy Awards; being a concept contributor on 3 HBO Latino specials; and, lastly, creating his Community Partner Nights which raise over $80,000 annually for Local Non-Profits. Mike is one of only a handful of Latinos to have trained in New York’s “Commercial Theater Institute” and his productions have been seen in Theaters in Florida, New York and Connecticut. His public speaking credits include the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus, the Federal Reserve and the Illinois Institute of Technology; Mike's off-Broadway production of "Made in Puerto Rico" featuring Eli Castro sold out 7 weeks at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in NYC recently and will be staged at the Kennedy Center for the Arts in April 2020
