This discussion will depict a retrospect of the Afro Latino and Caribbean cultures impact across modern day pop culture and media. The insiders view into the highlights of the conversation will be illustrated through iconic visual timepieces. The presentation will address our roots from El General and progress into the 2000’s where we meet the decade that the millennial and next generation of consumers live in. Throughout the presentation, fashion, sneaker & streetwear culture, and music will be covered spanning from cult classic moments like JLo’s Versace dress to the impact of Gasolina. The conversation will aim to motivate the next generation of creators and innovators to keep thinking beyond the norms and take on new spaces for our communities.
